Newcastle United Football Club (NUFC) is the eighth most successful of all the time and an English professional association football club based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. The club was formed in 1892 as a merger between Newcastle East End and Newcastle West End. The club was elected to the Football League in the 1893-94 season.
